It is known that the Pentagon proposed to include in the draft budget for fiscal year 2020 the cost of 10,193 "surface-to-surface" guided missile systems.
The news stressed that this figure is 26% more than in 2019, when the country's Ministry of Defense requested 8,101 missiles, 47% more than in 2018 with 6,936 missiles.
The weapons procurement plan to "neutralize or eliminate enemy air defense systems and anti-aircraft artillery" will cost the US budget about $1.4 billion.
