Lavrov calls US claims of “Russian interference” a Bacchus sacrifice
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called Washington's statements about Russian interference in US affairs a sacrifice to Bacchus.

"We see the very Bacchus ritual, which is being carried out in the United States, in fact, by attributing all the misfortunes of the American political system to Russian interference," the Russian Foreign Minister said at the plenary session of the German-Russian forum.
He noted that special prosecutor Robert Mueller has been working on the investigation for more than a year, hundreds of people have been interviewed.“With such a number of suspects being interrogated or such a number of witnesses, it is difficult to hide anything. The American system is notorious for leaks, in which there are immediate and not a single incident, I emphasize - not a single specific incident, not just verbal accusations that someone from St. Petersburg hacked the website of this or that US state agency, but not a single concrete fact is cited,” Lavrov added.
He also said that Moscow is proposing to the US side to restore the work of the bilateral group on cybersecurity.
