Closing and award ceremony of the 13th National Radio Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 5, at the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House, the Closing and Award Ceremony of the 13th National Radio Festival took place.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Comrade Nguyen The Ky - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam, Head of the Steering Committee of the 13th National Radio Festival; representatives of leaders of a number of central ministries, branches, and Radio and Television stations of 63 provinces and cities.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.
On the side of Ha Tinh province, there was comrade Le Dinh Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

This Radio Festival has the participation of all 63 provincial and municipal radio and television stations nationwide; 14 units of VOV; the People's Army Radio and Television Center, the People's Police Radio, Television and Cinema Center and the Youth and Children's Radio Department. There are 216 works that have made it to the final round. Of which, there are 31 ethnic language programs, 33 radio stories, 65 reports, 53 compilation programs and 34 live programs.

At the end of the 3-day final round, in the live radio category, there were 5 works that won Gold, 10 Silver and 16 Bronze prizes. In the reportage category, there were 4 Gold, 18 Silver, 20 Bronze and 23 Encouragement prizes. In the general radio program category, there were 4 Gold, 12 Silver, 17 Bronze and 20 Encouragement prizes. In the ethnic language radio program category, there were 4 Gold, 5 Silver, 10 Bronze and 12 Encouragement prizes. In the radio story category, there were 3 Gold, 7 Silver, 10 Bronze and 13 Encouragement prizes. In the staging category, there were 4 works that won the Best Staged award.
In addition, the festival also has a prize for the best live radio host. The total prize value of this festival is up to nearly 2 billion VND. Of which, the prize with the highest prize is the Gold prize in the live radio category with 30 million VND.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son awarded the Gold Prize in the radio story category to the works “Benefactor” of Nghe An Radio and Television Station; “Where to Flow” of the Literature and Arts Department, Voice of Vietnam Radio; and the work “Dad, I Want to Go Home” of the People’s Public Security Radio, Television and Cinema Center.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh and Comrade Cao Thi Hien presented awards to the authors who won the Gold Prize in the reportage category, including the work: "Efforts to restore the stolen trust of steel-hulled ship owners in Binh Dinh" by Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station; a series of 3 articles "Climate change in the Mekong Delta: Efforts to turn "danger" into "opportunity" by Voice of Vietnam; and the work "Need to wipe out the transformed fish shooting game" by Dong Nai Radio and Television Station.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong and comrade Le Dinh Son presented the Gold Prize to the authors of the general radio program and ethnic language radio program categories, including the works "The absent mother village" by Yen Bai Radio and Television Station; "The transformation of the spirit medium - From "fate" to "law disorder" by Voice of Vietnam; "The message of peace in My Lai" by Quang Ngai Radio and Television Station; "Smart farming in Dong Thap style" by Dong Thap Radio and Television Station; "Preserving traditional culture - seen from the improvement of the buffalo stabbing ceremony of the Co Tu people" by Voice of Vietnam; "Nurturing knowledge - Nurturing the future" by Can Tho Radio and Television Station; "The hidden danger from the habit of drinking alcohol indiscriminately of people in the highlands" by Voice of Vietnam; "When the OCOP program returns to the village" by Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station.

At the closing ceremony, comrade Vo Van Thuong and comrade Nguyen The Ky presented the Gold Prizes in the live radio category to the works “English General Program” of the Foreign Affairs Department, Voice of Vietnam; “Perspective” of a group of reporters, editors, and technicians of the News Department, Voice of Vietnam; “The Mekong Delta changes in production, adapts to climate change for development and enrichment” of VOV Traffic Channel, Voice of Vietnam; “Joining the Wave with VOH” of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Voice; “Streamlining the payroll in Nghe An - Simplified but not refined” of Nghe An Radio and Television Station.
