The 'Sea Daisy Ao Dai' festival will take place in Cua Lo town
(Baonghean.vn)- The 2023 "Sea Daisy Ao Dai" Festival will be held in Cua Lo town (Nghe An) in February and March, and is expected to attract a large number of women from across the province to participate.
The “Sea Daisy Ao Dai” Festival is organized by the People’s Committee of Cua Lo town in coordination with the Women’s Union, Youth Union and Labor Federation of the town. This is a practical activity to celebrate the country’s major holidays and welcome the Cua Lo tourism year 2023.

Thereby, promoting the imagesea daisy– the flower symbolizing tourism in the coastal city of Cua Lo and arousing pride, promoting good traditions, spreading the beauty of the image of Vietnamese women. At the same time, contributing to the preservation of national cultural identity, is also an activity contributing to promoting tourism in Cua Lo.
The festival's activities include a photo contest and video recording with sea daisy ao dai. Through this, the history, meaning, and symbolic beauty of sea daisy are promoted, creating a joyful, exciting, and practical atmosphere to welcome the 2023 Cua Lo tourist season.
Contestants are female citizens aged 18 to 40, with registered residence or living, studying and working in Nghe An. The final round of the 2023 "Sea Daisy Ao Dai Festival" is scheduled to be held in March 2023 atCua Lo beach town. The contest is organized directly in the form of ao dai festival. Contestants will go through 3 rounds: Sea daisy ao dai performance, behavioral round and talent round.
At the end of the final night, the Organizing Committee will auction the Sea Daisy Ao Dai, the money after the auction will be donated to the "Godmother" Fund launched by the Town Women's Union.
Regarding the prize structure, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 First prize worth 70 million VND; 02 Second prizes worth 50 million VND; 03 Third prizes worth 30 million VND; 04 Consolation prizes worth 20 million VND and 03 secondary prizes worth 20 million VND.
The contestant who wins the highest prize will be the representative face, promoting Cua Lo tourism for one year.
