Mai Bang Temple Festival

The festival commemorates the merits of General Chieu Trung Dai Vuong Le Khoi, a talented and virtuous general who made many contributions to the Lam Son Uprising. It is also the death anniversary of Che Thang Phu Nhan Nguyen Thi Bich Chau, a beautiful and talented noble concubine who was revered by the people as a sea goddess.
