Up in the highlands to celebrate the Great Unity Day

(Baonghean.vn) - Towards the Great Unity Day,These days in the highland areas, many activities are organized.

* At block 9, Con Cuong town,District leaders attended and shared the joy of the festival with the people. The block currently has nearly 150 households/536 people, is a residential block located near the center of the town, in recent years, the people of block 9 have constantly strived to improve. The material and spiritual life of the people has developed rapidly. Currently, the relatively rich households in the block account for 97%, and there are only 3 poor households, 100% of households have full audio-visual equipment.

With the mobilization of internal resources from the people as well as the investment attention of the district and town, the infrastructure and traffic system of block 9 has been 100% concreted. Social security, environment and landscape issues are always guaranteed.

Sharing the joy of the festival with the people, the district leaders congratulated the cadres, party members and people of block 9 and gave gifts to some households in difficult circumstances.

* At Tan Cay residential area, Nghia Loi commune (Nghia Dan),Dong Bao people organize cultural and artistic activities such as: bamboo dancing, gongs, throwing balls, pushing sticks, drinking rice wine...

Tan Cay hamlet has 82 households, 372 people, 100% of whom are Thai people. In 2017, implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas", the people of Tan Cay hamlet united together to compete in economic development, escape poverty and become rich legitimately. 185 people were mobilized to participate in training courses on production according to the VietGAP model, 85% of households registered to produce and trade safe food.

With many practical measures, the people in the hamlet have helped 2 households escape poverty and 6 households escape near poverty. Along with that, the Front Committee has also done a good job of mobilizing people to actively implement regulations on civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals.
