Related to Vu "aluminum", former female director of the Department of Finance is wanted
Defendant Dao Thi Huong Lan was identified as being involved in the case of Vu "nhom" acquiring prime land in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has just announced that it has issued a wanted notice for Dao Thi Huong Lan (born in 1960, former director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance, residing in An Phu ward, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, Ms. Lan was prosecuted for violating regulations on management and use of state assets, causing waste and loss. Before being arrested, Ms. Lan fled her residence.

When she was the director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance, Ms. Lan was involved in documents advising on causing damage and loss of state assets in the case of Phan Van Anh Vu (aka Vu "aluminum") acquiring "golden land" in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. Lan was determined to have advised former Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Huu Tin (who has been temporarily detained) to sign documents and decisions approving Vu Nhom's Bac Nam 79 Construction Joint Stock Company to sign a land lease contract with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, to deduct compensation for assets and structures on the land and not have to pay land rent for the house and land at 15 Thi Sach.
The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency announces: Any person who discovers the subject Dao Thi Huong Lan as in the photo, with ID number: 020588970 issued by Ho Chi Minh City Police on September 11, 2016 and passport: C3342887, has the right to arrest and immediately take the subject to the nearest police agency, People's Procuracy or People's Committee.
