Two consecutive fires occurred at dawn in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - In the early morning of June 16, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police mobilized many fire trucks and firefighters to control two fires in Yen Thanh and Thanh Chuong districts.
At 4:00 a.m. on June 16, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Police) received news of a fire at a wood processing and incense making workshop in Dong Lai hamlet, Phu Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

The fire department dispatched 4 fire trucks, 4 pumps and 32 officers and soldiers to fight the fire. About 30 minutes after arriving at the scene, the fire was brought under control.
"Because of the large amount of sawdust, the fire did not flare up but smoldered, so an excavator had to be used to stir it up and spray water to completely extinguish it, to prevent the fire from flaring up again," said a firefighter at the scene.
Initial statistics show that about 110 square meters of the incense production area were damaged, but no one was injured. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
Also this morning, at 4:50 a.m., the fire department received news of a fire in a livestock and agricultural storage area of a household in Phu Nhuan 2 hamlet, Thanh Ngoc commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Authorities dispatched two fire trucks and 16 officers and soldiers to the scene. The fire was located close to a residential area, so firefighters focused on preventing the fire from spreading. The fire was successfully contained a short time later.
The fire damaged a cowshed of about 70 square meters, along with rice and agricultural products.
