Landslide, a wedding hall destroyed

(Baonghean.vn) -During heavy rain, a block of earth on the high slope behind the house suddenly collapsed, causing a makeshift wedding tent and the items below to be destroyed and distorted.

The incident happened at 12 noon on September 22 at the house of Mr. Phan Xuan Sang (24 years old) in Hamlet 3, Thanh Khe Commune (Thanh Chuong). Mr. Sang said that at that time, there was a big storm outside when he heard a "boom", from inside the house he saw a block of earth over 10m high behind the house and 2 palm trees fell down, destroying the wedding tent that had just been set up below.

Through investigation, it was found that Mr. Sang was a wedding tent service provider. This 3-room tent was temporarily set up in the garden where he had just rented an excavator to lower the height. Unexpectedly, the prolonged heavy rain caused a landslide, collapsing a large block of land onto the tent, tearing all the tarpaulins, fabrics, backdrops, distorting and bending metal objects, breaking all the dishes and damaging almost all the items in the tent.

Estimated damage is about 20 million VND, fortunately, there were no human casualties.
