Fearing landslides, Ky Son continues to evacuate hundreds of households
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the influence of the low pressure trough (weakened from storm No. 9) combined with the strengthening cold air, from the early morning of October 29, there was heavy rain in Ky Son district, Nghe An. Facing the risk of landslides, Ky Son district continued to evacuate households in localities affected by landslides.
Specifically, at 7:00 a.m. on October 29, Ky Son district directed the People's Committee of Bao Nam commune to promptly evacuate 36 households, with 156 people in Nam Tien 2 village, toevacuation area for safe shelter.

According to Mr. Cut Thanh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Bao Nam commune, to ensure timely evacuation of people and security, the People's Committee of the commune has mobilized the entire force of the commune police, the commune military command and the officers in the committee.disaster preventionThe commune helps people evacuate essential items and protect security in evacuation areas.
In the two communes of Muong Tip and Muong Ai, the People's Committee of Ky Son district also continued to direct the authorities of the two communes to evacuate households in the landslide areas of Na My, Vang Phao, Xop Phe villages, Muong Tip commune and Xop Phong village, Muong Ai commune to evacuation areas to avoid the risk of landslides due to continuous heavy rain for many hours.
