6 candidates eliminated, 2 specialists passed as Deputy Director of the Ministry of Home Affairs

After a stressful exam day, two specialists, Ms. Pham Thu Hang and Mr. Tran Trung Kien, were elected as Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Deputy Director of the Department of Training and Development of Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees - Ministry of Home Affairs.

On December 22, the Ministry of Home Affairs held an exam to recruit department-level management leaders in 2017. According to the original plan, there were 9 candidates taking the exam for 2 deputy department positions. However, on the day of the project defense, 1 candidate was absent due to illness.

After a stressful day of testing, the two candidates with the highest scores out of the eight candidates, Ms. Pham Thu Hang (senior specialist of the Department of International Cooperation) and Mr. Tran Trung Kien (chief specialist of the Department of Training and Development of Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees) were appointed as deputy heads of departments immediately after the results were announced.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Home Affairs will recruit a series of leadership positions.

Specifically, Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan signed a decision to appoint Ms. Pham Thu Hang as Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Mr. Tran Trung Kien as Deputy Director of the Department of Training and Development of Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees.

In addition to recruiting for the above two positions, in the coming time, the Ministry of Home Affairs will recruit for a series of leadership positions. Among them is a Deputy Director of the Salary Department in charge of salary regimes for the military; police; cryptography; civil servants, public employees in the health sector, courts, prosecutors, inspectors, and judiciary.

In addition, the Ministry of Home Affairs also recruited one Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office, one Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry, one Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, one Deputy Director of the Department of Local Government, etc.

Candidates include civil servants and public employees who meet the standards and conditions for appointment and are in the planning of the recruitment position; currently working at a unit with a need for personnel appointment.

Civil servants and public employees who are not included in the planning of the recruitment title or the title equivalent to the recruitment title (including cases where they do not work at the unit that needs to appoint the recruitment title and may not be a party member) are nominated by the collective leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs and approved in writing by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, can also take the exam.
