Amazing benefits of taro
Taro is a very familiar food, not only processed into many delicious dishes that are loved by many people but also has great effects on health.
They contain a lot of starch, lipids, sugars, fiber, vitamins and minerals (Fe, Ca, P) and many amino acids. The fiber in potatoes helps increase intestinal absorption and has a laxative effect against constipation; unsaturated fatty acids linoleic and linolenic have the effect of lowering blood pressure, dilating blood vessels, and reducing blood cholesterol.

Some medicinal dishes from taro
Crab and taro soup: 200g field crab, 60g taro, 1 bunch of water spinach.
Remove the shell and apron of the field crab, wash and pound it, filter the water, add fish sauce and salt to taste; peel the taro, wash and cut into bite-sized pieces; take the leaves and young stems of the water spinach, remove the roots and cut into pieces, wash. Put the taro in the crab water, cook until the taro is soft, add the water spinach, cook until done. Eat during the day; use for 2-3 consecutive days. This dish is good for people who are restless, have poor appetite and sleep.

In addition, taro is also used to treat diseases:
Anti-toxic throat clearing: 15 - 20g taro, 50g wolfberry root. Boil for 2 hours, filter the clear water and drink once a day. Drink continuously for 60 days. Used for patients with tumors in the throat area.
Treat diarrhea, dysentery: 30g taro leaves, 30g carrot, a few cloves of garlic. Boil and drink.
Cure pimples, boils: Fresh potato and vinegar, equal doses. Boil and mash, apply to painful area.
Treatment of closed, swollen wounds: 120g taro, 3 raw onions. Crush, add a little wine, mix well, apply with a thin gauze on bruised, swollen, closed injuries. Effect: promotes blood circulation and reduces inflammation.
Treatment of snake bites and bee stings: Crush fresh taro leaves and apply to the painful area.
Treatment of hives: 60g taro leaf sheath, 30g mouse ear root, 30g red dates, 30g brown sugar. Boil and drink.
