90 YEARS OF GLORIOUS HISTORY

Review speech90 years of tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province said, in the midst of the first revolutionary movement led by the Party in 1930 - 1931, the peak of which was the Nghe - Tinh Soviet, which was taking place vigorously and vigorously throughout the country, on November 18, 1930, the Central Standing Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party issued a Directive on the establishment of the Anti-Imperialist Alliance - the first organizational form of theVietnam National United Front.

In March 1938, the Central Party Executive Committee Conference decided to change the name to the Indochinese Democratic United Front. In November 1940, the Central Party Executive Committee Conference advocated the establishment of the National Anti-Imperialist United Front. In May 1941, at the 8th Central Party Conference, it was decided to establish the Vietnam Independence League, abbreviated as the Viet Minh Front.

Under the leadership of the Party, the Viet Minh Front mobilized and organized all classes of people to successfully carry out the August General Uprising in 1945, gain national independence, and establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the State of the entire Vietnamese people (September 2, 1945). After the 1954 Geneva Agreement, on September 10, 1955, the National United Front Congress decided to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

After the whole country was independent and unified, from January 31 to February 4, 1977 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Congress of the Vietnam National United Front decided to merge 3 organizations: Vietnam Fatherland Front, National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, Alliance of National, Democratic and Peace Forces of Vietnam, with the common name of Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The founding day of the National United Front (November 18) every year has become a glorious traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and a "National Great Unity Day" in residential areas across the country.

STRONGLY PROMOTING THE STRENGTH OF THE WHOLE PEOPLE

Over the past 90 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front in general,Fatherland Front of Nghe An provincein particular has promoted the role of gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country in general and Nghe An province in particular.

The patriotic emulation campaigns and movements launched and implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations have brought about practical and clear results, gathered a large number of people to participate and closely followed the local political goals and tasks, thereby creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to the successful completion of the province's political tasks.

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands to care for the poor, leaving no one behind", the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized resources from the people, reaching more than 9,200 billion VND in total resources to build new rural areas, contributing to bringing 4 district-level units and 265 commune-level units to the new rural finish line.

In the face of difficulties, the people have promoted the tradition of "mutual love and support", willing to contribute human and material resources to support the province in preventing and fighting the epidemic and helping people affected by the epidemic. The total value of donated goods and cash has reached over 75 billion VND; supporting the people of the Central region with more than 83 billion VND in cash and in kind. This is a vivid manifestation of the strength of the great national unity bloc with the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the ceremony, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee called on the whole society to promote the revolutionary tradition of the heroic Soviet homeland, the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho, uphold patriotism, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, the spirit of "mutual love and affection", "leaving no one behind".
