Literacy class
(Baonghean) - Currently, in Phong village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district, there are still many women of the Tay Poong ethnic group, aged 15 to 45, who are illiterate. Faced with this reality, Tam Hop Border Guard Station - Nghe An Border Guard has coordinated with the Department of Education of Tuong Duong district and Tam Hop commune to organize literacy classes for the local people. The class time is very flexible, depending on the season and the work of the women. The class is held right at the village cultural house, pens, paper, school supplies, lesson plans and teachers are all provided by the Station. From being illiterate, now the women can read, write, and do calculations within the limit of 1,000... These classes are contributing to creating a learning movement in this mountainous village.
