Luis Suarez, the king of assists in La Liga

Playing as a center forward and scoring a lot of goals, but the Barca star also showed that he is equally excellent in the assist department.

Thanks to that, he has jumped to the top of the assist list in La Liga this season, with one more assist than the two people behind him, Real Madrid's Toni Kroos and Barca teammate Neymar.

Fourth-placed Pablo Piatti has only set up nine goals for his Espanyol teammates.

Messi is leading the scoring charts with 27 goals, three more than Suarez, but has only had seven successful assists in La Liga this season. Meanwhile, Antoine Griezmann, who plays as a striker like Suarez, has only seven assists.

"The Barca star is often mentioned as a player who does not play too individually, but the way he puts his teammates in favorable positions while having to move, keep the ball and be surrounded by opposing defenders shows that he is the most complete striker, capable of doing everything," Marca, a famous newspaper close to Real Madrid, commented about Suarez.
