Girl's Facebook hacked, blackmailed for saving sensitive photos

Two young men hacked the girl's Facebook, using sensitive photos to force her to give them money, otherwise the photos would be posted online.

Lang Chanh District Police said they have initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, temporarily detained Le Viet Anh (born in 1996) in Thuong Xuan town, Thuong Xuan district and applied preventive measures to prohibit Le Kim Hoang Anh (born in 1998) in Giat town, Trieu Son district from leaving his place of residence for the act ofextortion.

Target audience"sensitive" imageThe woman kept the photos on Facebook and threatened to transfer money to their account. If the money was not given, the subject threatened to post the "sensitive" photos on social networks.
Out of fear, Ms. O. transferred money to the subjects twice, totaling 1.3 million VND.

However, these subjects continued to send "blackmail" messages, forcing her to file a police report.

Through verification and investigation, Lang Chanh District Police identified two subjects, Le Viet Anh and Le Kim Hoang Anh, as the perpetrators who committed the extortion of Ms. O's property.

At the police station, the two suspects confessed to all their crimes.

It is known that Le Viet Anh is addicted to games and has a criminal record for fraud and property appropriation.

Just released from prison, this subject "returned to his old ways", frequently wandering the internet looking for ways to hack girls' accounts, then using "sensitive" images on their Facebook to blackmail and extort property.
