Divorced but living together, conflict causes man to stab ex-wife to death
Seeing his ex-wife saying she was going out drinking at a friend's house, a man came with a pair of scissors to find her. An argument broke out and he stabbed his ex-wife to death.
The victim was Ms. Thach Thi Ngoc Son (47 years old, residing in Tan Xuan ward, Dong Xoai city).

According to initial investigation, Ms. Son and Mr. Thach Lo (53 years old) are married but divorced, but still live together in the same house in Tan Xuan ward, Dong Xoai city.
At around 9pm last night (September 25), Mr. Lo did not see Mrs. Son at home so he called her and asked her to come home to look after the children, but Mrs. Son said she was busy drinking at a friend's house in the neighborhood.
Angry, Mr. Lo took a pair of scissors and went looking for them. When he arrived, Mr. Lo askedex-wifewent behind the house to talk, the two sides had a conflict and fought.
At this time, Mr. Lo pulled out scissors and stabbed Ms. Son repeatedly, causing the victim to fall to the ground.
Discovering the incident, a man who was drinking in the house ran out to stop it but was stabbed in the chest by Mr. Lo and fell down.
Both victims were then taken to the emergency room, but Ms. Son died and the man is in critical condition.
After committing the crime, Mr. Lo went to the police station to surrender and confess his crime.
