Carrying 20 heroin cakes, 1kg of crystal meth, using a knife to attack the police
(Baonghean.vn) - When Tung was carrying 20 heroin cakes and 1kg of crystal meth to sell, detectives intercepted and caught him red-handed. Tung quickly took out a knife to fight back but was restrained.
On the morning of October 2, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Anh - Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC47 - Provincial Police) said that the unit had just presided over and coordinated with related units to successfully destroy a large-scale drug trafficking ring from Laos to Nghe An.

Previously, in May 2017, through reconnaissance work, PC47 discovered a large-scale drug trafficking ring from Laos to Nghe An. PC47 coordinated with related units to establish Project 617H to fight and destroy it.
Through the investigation and monitoring process, in the early morning of October 1, on National Highway 7A through Nam Son commune, Do Luong district, the Task Force caught Pham Van Tung (born in 1990, residing in Phu Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) red-handed illegally transporting drugs.
At the time of arrest, Tung carried a sharp knife to fight back against the police but was subdued by the detectives. The seized evidence included 20 heroin cakes, 1kg of crystal meth, 12,000 synthetic drug pills, 1 Honda SH motorbike, 2 mobile phones, and 1 knife.

Expanding the investigation, on the same day, the Special Task Force urgently arrested Pham Van Hung (born in 1970, residing in Phu Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) and Lo Van Sao (born in 1983, residing in Ban Met, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district), who were also involved in this drug trafficking ring.
The case is currently under further investigation./.
