Arrested for carrying 6 heroin cakes from Laos to Vietnam for sale
A subject who illegally bought and sold drugs from Laos to Vietnam has just been arrested. The seized evidence includes 6 heroin cakes.
At around 1:15 p.m. on May 8, in Ten Nua village, Nua Ngam commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province, the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Dien Bien Provincial Police caught Ly A Chinh (37 years old), a Lao national, residing in Phu Bia, Phu Cut district, Xieng Khouang province, Lao PDR, in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs. The evidence seized on the spot was 6 heroin cakes with a total weight of about 2,100 grams.

Initially, Ly A Chinh confessed to buying the above drugs from Laos and bringing them to Vietnam for consumption, but was arrested by Dien Bien Provincial Police.
Currently, the case is being expanded by the Drug Crime Investigation Department of Dien Bien Provincial Police.
