Brought 3 year old daughter to motel to kill, hid body in wardrobe
Hang confessed that she was depressed and would kill her child to free her from a serious illness, then commit suicide.
The Criminal Investigation Agency of Binh Tan District Police is temporarily detaining Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang (born 1988, from Ben Tre) to investigate the act of "murder".
It is worth mentioning that the victim was only 3 years old and was Hang's biological child.

Earlier, on the morning of August 6, Hang went to the local police station to confess to killing her own child. Upon receiving the information, the police went to a motel on 6A Street, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, and discovered the body of the 3-year-old child in a wardrobe.
Because of difficult family circumstances and no money to treat her child, Hang became depressed.
Due to suicidal thoughts, at noon on August 5, Hang took her child to rent a room at a motel on 6A Street, Binh Tri Dong B Ward. There, Hang used a phone charger cord to strangle her child until the child lay motionless.
Knowing that her child was dead, Hang hid the child's body in the wardrobe in the motel room.
On the morning of August 6, Hang went to Tau Hu canal to commit suicide but did not dare to jump. Next, Hang went to the Saigon bridge area and a high-rise apartment building in Trung Son residential area, Binh Chanh district to continue her suicide attempt but also failed.
That same morning, Hang went to the police station to confess and confessed to killing her own child.
