Masan invests in a trillion-dollar pig farming project in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province announced that it has approved the project of concentrated pig farming of Masan Group in Quy Hop with a total investment of 1,000 billion VND, capacity of 10,000 sows and 100,000 pigs. This will be the largest pig farming project in Nghe An at present.

The project will be started on October 22 in Quy Hop district. The project's objective is to raise pigs for meat, produce new pig breeds and high-yield pig semen with high economic efficiency. The total land area is 245.49 hectares, output products include: pork and breeding pigs.
The investor will invest in a barn system for 10,000 sows and 100,000 pigs, integrating a temperature and odor control system; a waste treatment system including: biogas system, wastewater treatment, circulating pond, post-biogas manure treatment. In addition, there is also an electrical system and office building, staff housing, warehouse, guard house, etc.
