Family conflict, nephew brings people to 'deal with' his uncle

On November 27, the Office of the Dak Lak Provincial Police Department of Investigation announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Doan Van Thanh (born in 1992), Nguyen Xuan Vu (born in 2000, both residing in Cuor Knia commune, Buon Don district) and Nguyen Huu Dong (born in 1994, residing in Thanh Cong ward, Buon Ma Thuot city) to investigate the act of "Murder".

Previously, the Investigation Agency of Dak Lak Provincial Police also temporarily detained Doan Van Dong (born in 1989, residing in Cuor Knia commune, Buon Don district) and Cao Cong Thanh (born in 1996, residing in Thong Nhat ward, Buon Ma Thuot city) for the act of "Murder".

According to the Investigation Agency, due to family conflicts, at around 11:00 p.m. on January 1, 2023, after finishing drinking, Doan Van Dong invited the above subjects to the house of his uncle, Dang Van Thua (born in 1987, residing in Cuor Knia commune, Buon Don district) to beat them up.

The subjects brought two knives as weapons. Upon arriving, the subjects kicked open the gate of Mr. Thua's house and then went inside to destroy the house, causing property damage of 4.7 million VND. When Mr. Dang Van Du (born in 1990, residing in Cuor Knia commune, Buon Don district, Mr. Thua's younger brother) entered the yard, the subjects rushed in and beat him, slashing his arms, legs and head. Fortunately, Mr. Du was taken to the emergency room in time so his life was not affected, the disability rate was 32%.

According to the Investigation Agency, in addition to the act of "Murder", Cao Cong Thanh, Doan Van Dong and Nguyen Xuan Vu were also prosecuted for the act of "Intentionally damaging property".
