Russian plane enters turbulence, dozens hospitalized
At least 27 people were injured on an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Bangkok when the Boeing 777 carrying them encountered turbulence.
Reuters reported on May 1 that a Russian plane carrying 313 passengers encountered turbulence and experienced severe shaking while en route from Moscow (Russia) to Bangkok (Thailand).

“At least 27 people were injured when an Aeroflot Boeing 777 crashed on May 1,” the Russian Embassy in Thailand said in a statement.
It is known that among the 27 injured were 24 Russian citizens and 3 Thai people.
All the injured were taken to hospital with various injuries, mainly broken bones and bruises. The reason for the injuries was that some passengers were not wearing seat belts, the source said.
A statement from Russian airline Aeroflot said the Boeing 777 plane encountered turbulence about 40 minutes before landing at the airport in the capital Bangkok.
Aeroflot operates two flights a day from Moscow to Bangkok. Thailand, with its beautiful resorts and beaches, is a top destination for many Russian tourists.
