US military aircraft detected near Crimea
US military aircraft detected on Russian border, according to data from monitoring resources.
The US Air Force Boeing RC-135V radio reconnaissance aircraft with tail number 64-14846 and call sign WHISK21 took off from the Souda Bay airbase in Greece at 07:10 Moscow time. In addition to the reconnaissance aircraft, the Stratotanker KC135R with tail number 57-2605 and call sign QID259 arrived in the Black Sea. After refueling, the RC-135V began reconnaissance off the coast of Crimea.

The published map shows the plane's route over the Black Sea, not far from the Russian peninsula. The device traveled for about two hours near the Crimean border and circled the designated territory several times.
US warplanes have been spotted in the area several times. According to a statement by Crimean parliamentarian Ivan Shonus, frequent flights of US intelligence vehicles near the peninsula’s borders are worrying.
He noted that such exercises have nothing to do with friendly policy or partnership. According to him, it is time for Washington to stop "watching" Crimea and pay attention to protecting its own borders.
