Propaganda rally in response to the Month of Action against Drugs

(Baonghean.vn) - With the desire to reduce crime and drug abuse in mountainous districts, on June 28, the Anti-Smuggling Investigation Department, the General Department of Customs and the Nghe An Customs Department coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Can commune (Ky Son) to organize a rally to propagate drug prevention.

At the ceremony, the authorities organized communication on the Law on Drug Prevention and Control, helping to raise awareness among people, especially young people and students in the border area, about the consequences of drug abuse on themselves, their families and society. In addition, they encouraged people not to use drugs in any form, not to buy, sell or illegally transport drugs across the border and raise awareness on drug prevention to ensure political and economic security and social order and safety in Nam Can commune.

To improve the effectiveness of drug prevention propaganda, Nghe An Customs Department has distributed leaflets printed in Vietnamese and Mong languages.

At the end of the ceremony, the functional forces, the commune government and 100 local people organized a parade to propagate drug prevention along National Highway 7A, passing through the border commune of Nam Can.
