(Baonghean.vn) - Having just completed a 10-day prison term for "illegal possession of drugs", Sinh brought a gun and threatened to kill someone just because of a trivial conflict.

On October 21, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Khac Thong - Head of Do Luong District Police said that the unit is consolidating related documents and evidence to complete the case file to prosecute Hoang Ngoc Sinh (born in 1987), residing in Hamlet 6, Dong Son Commune, Do Luong District, for the act of "illegal possession of military weapons".

Previously, on the morning of October 11, due to a personal conflict, Hoang Ngoc Sinh brought a knife and a gun to ask Vu Duy Trung (born in 1981), residing in block 3, Do Luong town, to take him to Luu Son commune to meet Tran Van Dung (born in 1991), residing in hamlet 2, Luu Son commune, to resolve the conflict.

When he arrived at the Luu Son gas station and saw Mr. Dung walking alone, Sinh immediately jumped out of the car, grabbed a knife and a gun and rushed in to slash Mr. Dung. Being attacked unexpectedly, Mr. Dung ran away to hide in a nearby house.

Upon receiving the report, Do Luong District Police quickly deployed forces to capture the suspect. At 3 p.m. the same day, the task force urgently arrested Sinh while he was hiding at a motel in Hamlet 5, Dong Son Commune.

Searching Sinh's residence, the task force seized a metal knife with a 1.5 meter long wooden handle and a COLT 45 pistol without bullets. This was also the weapon Sinh used to threaten Mr. Dung.

During the initial investigation, Hoang Ngoc Sinh confessed to picking up the gun on the street. It is known that Sinh had just completed a 10-day prison sentence for “illegal possession of drugs”.
