A poor worker from Nghe An died in Laos
(Baonghean.vn) - While walking to buy Tet gifts in Laos to return to Vietnam for Tet, a woman from the border commune of Tam Hop (Tuong Duong) had a traffic accident and died in the neighboring country.
On the morning of January 31, Ms. Luong Thi Dao - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Hop Commune, Tuong Duong District, said: At around 22:30 on January 30, the vehicle carrying the body of the victim Luong Thi Huong (born in 1973), residing in Xop Nam village, Tam Hop Commune (Tuong Duong) arrived home, after nearly a day of travel.
Previously, on the afternoon of January 29, Ms. Huong was walking to buy Tet gifts in Bolikhamxay province (Laos) to return home for Tet, when she was killed in a traffic accident.

According to local authorities, the victim's family is in a very difficult situation and is classified as a particularly poor household in the commune. Ms. Huong is a single mother with a daughter who is currently in grade 11C at Tuong Duong 1 High School. To pay for her daughter's education, Ms. Huong had to go to Laos to work to earn money since the beginning of 2018.
