A woman was robbed of 23 million VND while paying off her student loans.
(Baonghean.vn) – Quang Son Commune Police (Do Luong) said that a local resident was robbed of nearly 23 million VND by two young men while on his way to the bank to pay off his child's student loan.
The victim was Mrs. Tran Thi Tuong, Hamlet 9, Quang Son Commune (Do Luong). Before that, at around 1:30 p.m. on March 17, Mrs. Tuong rode her motorbike from Quang Son Commune to the District Social Policy Bank to pay off her student loan. When she reached the road bordering Thai Son and Tan Son Communes, Mrs. Tuong was approached by two young men on a motorbike and snatched her handbag.

Due to surprise, Mrs. Huong fell to the street and suffered minor injuries. When she regained consciousness, the two subjects had run away. She could not see their faces or the license plate clearly.
Inside the bag were nearly 23 million VND and loan documents and personal papers. This was the amount of money that Ms. Tuong borrowed from her neighbors to pay the Social Policy Bank when she borrowed money for her child studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
After her bag was snatched, Ms. Tuong went to Do Luong District Police to report the incident. The District Police are currently investigating and clarifying the matter.
Mr. Le Van Thuy, Head of Quang Son Commune Police (Do Luong) said that since the end of Tet, there have been 5 robberies on the Khuon - Dai Son road. Many cases of motorbikes being stolen while parked on the side of the road to go to work or attend weddings.
