Influenza A/H1N1 is a common seasonal flu. However, chronic patients, immunocompromised people, pregnant women... infected with influenza A virus are susceptible to lung damage, multiple organ damage, severe complications leading to death.

The A/H1N1 flu virus can easily spread from person to person through the air containing tiny water droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, laughs or talks. The disease can also be transmitted by contact, touching the surface of an object contaminated with the virus. Sharing utensils and toothbrushes with an infected person can also transmit the flu virus.

Doctors recommend that high-risk groups such as children, the elderly, pregnant women, obese people, and people with chronic diseases should proactively prevent influenza infection. They should get vaccinated, practice personal hygiene, and limit contact with people with respiratory infections. If you have symptoms of fever, cough, sneezing, runny nose, etc., you should go to a medical facility for treatment and not take medication on your own.
