Central region floods are tense

Specifically, at 4:00 a.m. this morning, the flood on Ngan Sau River at Chu Le was 12.78m, 0.72m below BĐ3; at Hoa Duyet 10.06m, 0.44m below BĐ3; Kien Giang River at Le Thuy 2.41m, 0.21m above BĐ2; Kon River at Thach Hoa 7.7m, 0.3m below BĐ3 (at 03:00/03); Ky Lo River at Ha Bang 10.94m, 1.44m above BĐ3.

According to forecasts, in the coming hours, floods on rivers from Quang Nam - Gia Lai will continue to rise, while rivers from Ha Tinh to Hue, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum will slowly recede.

Today and tomorrow, moderate to heavy rain will expand from Quang Ngai to Binh Thuan with rainfall ranging from 50-100mm, in some places over 250mm.

Be alert to the high risk of major floods, flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides in mountainous areas, and localized flooding in low-lying areas in provinces from Quang Nam to Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai, Kon Tum.

Especially the districts of Tay Giang, Dai Loc (Quang Nam); Son Tay, Son Ha (Quang Ngai); Tay Son, An Nhon, Tuy Phuoc, Phu Cat, Phu My, Hoai An, Hoai Nhon, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh); An Khe, Ayunpa, Manggiang, Phu Thien, IaPa (Gia Lai); Song Cau, Son Hoa, Dong Xuan, Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen).

The North welcomes strong cold air

The North is experiencing the typical dry days of autumn. Today, the temperature across the region begins to rise slightly, with sunshine in the afternoon.

The highest temperature in the capital Hanoi today is expected to reach 27-28 degrees Celsius. However, it will be slightly cold at night and early morning, with the lowest temperature ranging from 18-20 degrees Celsius.

After November 4, the North will continue to experience rising temperatures during the day, with the highest temperature possibly reaching 30 degrees Celsius, but the temperature difference between day and night is large. At night and early morning, the weather will still be slightly cold with temperatures ranging from 20-21 degrees Celsius.

Then from the afternoon and night of November 7, the very first day of winter, the North will welcome a strong cold air mass, causing temperatures to drop sharply. The weather will turn cold.

Meanwhile, in the Central Highlands and the South today, rain will continue to increase due to the influence of a low-lying trough.

In Ho Chi Minh City, this afternoon and tonight there will be rain in many places, some places will have heavy rain and thunderstorms. Watch for thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Highest temperature 31-32 degrees Celsius. Lowest 23-24 degrees Celsius.
