3rd day of Tet: 15 people died in traffic accidents
Today (February 14), the third day of the Lunar New Year, all traffic accidents occurred on roads; there were no incidents on railways or inland waterways.
During the day, there were 28 incidents nationwide.traffic accident, killing 15 people and injuring 23. All incidents occurred on roads. There were no incidents on railways or inland waterways. Compared to the same period of the Lunar New Year 2020, there were 5 fewer incidents, 4 fewer deaths, and 20 fewer injuries.

The highway traffic patrol and control teams detected and handled 6 cases, paid 24 million VND to the State Treasury, and revoked 6 driving licenses. The waterways inspected and detected and handled 17 violations; fined 14 million VND.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants during the last days of the Lunar New Year holiday, when traffic volume to major cities, especially Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, increases, traffic participants should arrange their work, choose appropriate time and route; when detecting traffic jams, they should be patient, pay attention to yielding to each other, and comply with traffic flow instructions of the authorities./.
