US imposes sanctions on Wagner, announces new aid package for Ukraine
The US Treasury Department said Washington has imposed sanctions on one individual and four entities for their links to the head of the Wagner private military group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
RIA Novosti reported that the additional sanctions list involves one Russian citizen, two companies from the Central African Republic, one company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and one company from Russia.
According to the US Treasury Department, the companies subject to US sanctions are accused of engaging in trade to finance Wagner's activities in Ukraine and Africa.

US announces new aid package for Ukraine
The Pentagon said the United States is allocating a new $500 million military aid package to Ukraine.
According to the Pentagon, this aid will include important weapons to support Ukraine's counteroffensive operations, enhancing air defense capabilities, as well as armored vehicles, anti-tank weapons and ammunition.
In addition, the new military assistance package will include additional ammunition for the Patriot air defense system, HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and Stinger air defense missiles.
In addition, according to the Pentagon, the United States plans to provide Kiev with 30 more Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 25 Stryker armored personnel carriers, Javelin anti-tank missiles, aviation and artillery ammunition, small arms, thermal imaging and night vision equipment, as well as spare parts.
