US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called the Russian company Parsek, which is on the US sanctions list, a "key source" of goods and technology for the DPRK's missile program.

According to him, in the years 2016-2021, DPRK citizen O Yong Ho cooperated with the Parsek company and its development director, Russian citizen Roman Alar, to purchase Kevlar thread, aramid fiber, aviation fuel, bearings and high-precision milling machines.

“The connection between O Yong Ho, Roman Alar and Parsek LLC is a key source of goods and technology... for the DPRK's missile program,” Blinken's statement said.

The US had previously imposed sanctions for violating the nuclear non-proliferation regime on the Parsek company and seven individuals, including Alar and six DPRK citizens, who according to US authorities are living in Russia like O Yong Ho or in China.
