The US Pacific Air Forces announced that 200 Air Force personnel and radar-evading aircraft were deployed to Andersen Air Force Base.
Andersen Air Force Base, a strategic US location in the Asia-Pacific, is now home to B-1 bombers, which have been participating in military exercises on the Korean Peninsula with the Japanese Self-Defense Force and the South Korean military. The exercises were carried out after North Korea conducted nuclear and ballistic missile tests.
It is not yet clear how long the B-2 bombers will be deployed in Guam, but the US Air Force is expected to conduct exercises in the Asia-Pacific region during the deployment. The US Department of Defense explained that the deployment of B-2 bombers is part of the military program that the US is conducting around the world./.
