According to this information, the US blocked the project two years ago, during the active phase of military-technical cooperation negotiations between Kiev and Ankara. This is a project to create missiles, aircraft and defense systems against high-precision weapons.
According to an anonymous industrialist, the US side does not want Türkiye's efforts to "go uncontrollable" and opposes Ukraine's technology transfer.
Earlier, the media reported that the US was unhappy with Ukraine testing the new Grom-2 missile. Sources in the Ukrainian defense industry believe that NATO countries are not interested in Ukraine's strengthening, and Kiev "traditionally lacks the political will" to protect its own interests.
This is not the only joint project established by Ankara and Kiev. In October 2017, the presidents of the two countries signed a series of cooperation agreements, the Turkish state-owned company ASELSAN signed a contract with "Spetstehnoeksport" (Ukraine) to supply communication systems to the Ukrainian Army worth 43.6 million USD.
