US allocates additional $250 million for Ukraine's military spending

Accordingly, the total defense costs allocated by the US to Ukraine have reached 1.5 billion USD.

It should be noted that the money will be directed towards training programs. Specifically, the US will focus on purchasing weapons such as sniper rifles and grenade launchers.

It was reported earlier that the draft military budget for 2020, prepared by the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee of the US Congress, Mr. Adam Smith, provides for military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 250 million USD.
