In 2018, Cua Lo town is expected to have 28/29 targets achieved and exceeded the plan. The total production value is estimated at over 8,288 billion VND, up 14.4% over the same period last year and reaching 102.4% of the yearly plan, equal to 105.3% of the plan assigned by the province.

Of which, the service sector is estimated to reach over 3,313 billion VND; Industry - Construction is estimated to reach 4,567 billion VND; Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery is estimated to reach over 407 billion VND. The total mobilized capital for social development investment is estimated to reach 4,180 billion VND.

Average added value reached 91 million VND/person. Budget revenue is estimated at 387 billion VND. Culture and society have many improvements. Political security and social order and safety are ensured.
