Male worker returns home to buy drugs as 'gifts' for colleagues
(Baonghean.vn) - While working as a worker for a textile company in Binh Duong, Kha Van Trong (residing in Ky Son district, Nghe An) visited home and "conveniently" bought drugs to both use for himself and bring to Binh Duong as "gifts" for some people working at the same company.
Ky Son District Police are temporarily detaining Kha Van Trong (born in 1995), residing in Xop Thap village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, to investigate the act of "Illegal possession of drugs".
Previously, at around 20:30 on June 8, 2021, the working group of Ky Son District Police was on duty at Block 1, Muong Xen town when they discovered a subject with many suspicious signs, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection. The subject did not comply and sped away, the working group immediately chased and successfully controlled him.

Through inspection, the subject's jacket pocket was seized with 02 blue potylene bags containing many pink tablets (suspected to be synthetic drugs) and 02 white blocks (suspected to be heroin) wrapped in yellow potylene bags. Through checking the personal papers, it was determined that the subject was Kha Van Trong, residing in Xop Thap village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.
Initially, Trong confessed that he bought the drugs from an unknown man in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district for 5 million VND with the intention of both using them and giving them as gifts to his friends.workers in Binh Duong.
The amount of seized evidence was determined to be 37.5 grams of pink tablets and 8.5 grams of white substance. Currently, Ky Son District Police are sending samples for examination and completing the file to initiate prosecution according to regulations.
