A male teacher in Nghe An was fined nearly 40 million VND for drinking and driving a car on the wrong side of the road.
(Baonghean.vn) - A driver was fined nearly 40 million VND for driving on the wrong side of the road after drinking alcohol and had his driver's license revoked for 23 months.
Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision to impose administrative penalties in the field of road and railway traffic against Mr. PV D. (born in 1978, residing in Tan Ky district, Nghe An province).
Previously, Mr. PV D. was driving a car on the wrong side of the road when he was discovered by the traffic control patrol team of Tan Ky District Police and ordered to be administratively inspected. At the same time, the patrol team requested to test the alcohol concentration of the above driver, discovering that this driver had an alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath (specifically 1.267 mg/liter of breath).

For the act of using alcohol while driving, according to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, Mr. PV D. was administratively fined 35 million VND and 4 million VND for the act of driving on the wrong side of the road. In addition to the administrative fine, driver PV D. also had his driver's license revoked for 23 months.
It is known that Mr. D. is currently a teacher.
