7th grade boy drowned while bathing under suspension bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 4 hours of searching, the male student's body was found about 100m from the accident site.
At around 5:30 p.m. on June 22, a group of buffalo herders in Nghia Binh commune, Tan Ky district invited each other to bathe in the river at the Do Ro suspension bridge connecting Nghia Dong and Nghia Binh communes.
After bathing further ashore, the group of children did not see Đ.V.Đ, born in 2008, residing in Hamlet 4, Nghia Binh Commune. Before that, Đ. was bathing at the foot of the bridge, near the shore, where the river water was shallower. The group of children immediately shouted and ran to find nearby adults for help.
Upon receiving the news, the Party Committee, the government, the commune and hamlet police quickly arrived at the area where D. had the accident, along with local people, to search for the victim.
It was not until around 9:00 p.m. the same day that D.'s body was found about 100 meters from the foot of Do Ro suspension bridge.
