Nguyen Huu Minh Quang (born in 2011) is currently an 8A student at Ton Quang Phiet Secondary School (Thanh Chuong). Since childhood, Minh Quang has been passionate about story books, spending a lot of time with his friends and reading books.

Realizing their son's passion for books, Minh Quang's parents often look for good books to add to the bookshelf, including many books aboutUncle Hoand Literature books. The pages of books have helped Minh Quang expand his knowledge, understand new things in life and have the vibrations and emotions of a child.

Minh Quang shared: “For me, books are great friends on the journey of discovering human knowledge. When I have free time, I often spend it on books. When I read books, I am really happy and receive many new and interesting things.”

At the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, Nguyen Huu Minh Quang introduced the novel "Golden Lotus" by writer Son Tung. As a son ofNghe AnWith his sincere respect for Uncle Ho, writer Son Tung has poured his heart into the pages of books about him and created valuable literary works.

Reading the work, Nguyen Huu Minh Quang realized that with a simple yet profound storytelling style, writer Son Tung successfully portrayed the image of Uncle Ho in his youth under the name Nguyen Sinh Con, following his parents and older brother to the capital Hue to study. In the work, there are scenes imbued with human love, beautiful cultural features in family traditions and at school, helping readers understand more about Uncle Ho's childhood.

“Following each page of the book, I was immersed in the story of a boy full of love. Seeing his friend hit the cat, cut off the tail of a dragonfly or accidentally kill a baby bird, Con felt extremely sorry. Con not only loved small animals but also cared for, shared and helped people around him,” Minh Quang shared.

The life and personality of the boy Con in the work inspired and guided Minh Quang and his friends to a positive lifestyle. Admiring and respecting the boy Con, Minh Quang silently reminded himself to love and share; to live in harmony, to sympathize with unfortunate fates, and to be filial to his parents.

Previously, Minh Quang thought that patriotism only existed in adults and heroes, but through the story of the boy Con, he suddenly realized that patriotism does not wait for age, but should start today; patriotism from the simplest things...

When winning the first prize in the Reading Culture Ambassador contest at the provincial and national levels, Nguyen Huu Minh Quang built a plan to develop reading culture from family to community to carry out the mission of spreading love for books.

According to Minh Quang, nowadays many technological devices have been born, attracting the attention of many people, which has somewhat affected the reading habit of the community. Faced with this situation, he always wondered how to spread the passion for reading, contributing to the development of reading culture in the community.

At school, he is the Team Leader and a member of the House of Wisdom, so he has many advantages in launching movements.read a bookfor students by organizing reading activities during class time and extracurricular activities; propose to the school board to organize reading activities after each afternoon class at the House of Wisdom and the school library.

Minh Quang has created a "Book Reading Club" on social networks with the participation of many team members; created a learning software and provided useful book files, so that you can download and read.
