Young man shot dead while attending a party at a restaurant
A fight broke out while eating at a restaurant in Quang Ngai City. Mr. Thai was shot dead by a young man who rushed in from outside.
In the early morning of May 5, Vo Thanh Thai (26 years old) and a group of friends went to a party at a restaurant on Phan Dang Luu Street, Quang Ngai City. While eating and drinking, the restaurant owner called him in to talk, and then an argument broke out.

During the scuffle, another group of young men rushed in from outside. One of them pulled out a gun and shot Mr. Thai, knocking him out on the spot. The group then quickly escaped. The victim was taken to the emergency room but died.
Colonel Vo Van Duong - Deputy Director of Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that some people involved have not yet confessed honestly, the police are still clarifying the cause and motive of the crime. "We are focusing on capturing the suspect," said Mr. Duong.
