Young man stabbed dozens of times
After the conflict, the young man stabbed the victim more than 20 times, causing him to collapse on the street.
On August 27, Duc Hoa District Police (Long An Province) detained Nguyen Tan Vinh (18 years old, residing in An Thuan Hamlet, An Ninh Dong Commune) to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury. The victim was Tran Do Thai Duong (28 years old, residing in An Thuan Hamlet, An Ninh Dong Commune).
Before that, at around 12 noon on August 26, Mr. Duong was standing in front of his house when Nguyen Tan Vinh came to talk to him. The two then got into a loud argument.
Suddenly, Vinh pulled out a hidden knife and stabbed Mr. Duong dozens of times, causing him to collapse on the street.
The victim was seriously injured and was taken by locals to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) for emergency treatment.
Vinh was arrested immediately after committing the crime. The police seized the weapon and took the suspect to the police station for questioning.
The case is currently under investigation.
