Young man stabs 4 people after motorbike collision

While driving his girlfriend on the street in District 2 (HCMC), he collided with a group of 4 young men. They chased him, so he pulled out a knife and stabbed one person to death, injuring the other 3 victims.

On the evening of December 11, Vu Anh Tuan (26 years old) was riding a motorbike with his girlfriend on Tran Nao Street (Binh An Ward, District 2). When reaching a curve near a coffee shop, he collided with the motorbike of 2 young men in a group of 4.

Tuan drove his girlfriend away, a group of young men chased after him, blocked the car, and beat him. He abandoned the car and ran a short distance, then pulled out a knife and came back to attack, injuring all four young men who were chasing him.

"The incident happened very quickly. The group of young men chased and repeatedly beat the man with his girlfriend with a helmet. He ran to a nearby alley and stabbed the others. One victim was stabbed in the chest and collapsed on the spot, bleeding profusely," said a witness.

The victims were taken to the emergency room but one person died, one person was seriously injured, and the other two victims were not in danger of death.

People who witnessed the incident called the police. The authorities then arrested Tuan at the scene along with the weapon. Tuan claimed to be a bartender in the center of District 1.
