Young man rides bicycle from Hue to Nghe An to avoid the epidemic
(Baonghean.vn) - After arriving at the Covid-19 control checkpoint in Chieu Luu commune (Ky Son), the young man was quickly tested for Covid by the medical team and taken to the centralized quarantine area in Huoi Cang 1 village, Bac Ly commune.
According to information from the Covid-19 Prevention Steering Committee of Bac Ly commune, the commune has just received and brought to the centralized quarantine area a young man named Luong Van Khoi (born in 2003) when he cycled from An Cuu ward, Hue city to his hometown (Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An) to avoid the epidemic.

During the discussion, Khoi said that he came to Hue to apply for a job in June 2021. However, due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic, the job was not guaranteed, and he had no money to cover his living expenses, so he decided to return home on a bicycle given to him by his landlord.

Departing from An Cuu ward, Hue city on September 3, I traveled during the day and rested at night. The first night I stayed at Quang Tri toll station.
On the way back, I met a young man named Dinh, from Ha Tinh, who was riding a motorbike back to his hometown. Dinh asked me to stay in Quang Binh to find a job. I agreed to stay to find a job together, but while I was taking a nap, Dinh took my money and phone and ran away. Khoi continued cycling back to his hometown. Khoi said that on the way, when he was hungry, he went to a restaurant to ask for food and said he was going to Nghe An to avoid the epidemic, so they didn't take the money.

On the morning of September 7, Khoi arrived at the Covid-19 epidemic prevention checkpoint of Ky Son district. After declaring, he was given a free rapid Covid test by the medical team and supported by Senior Lieutenant Ngo Quang Loc, Ky Son District Police, with 300,000 VND.
After receiving a negative Covid rapid test result, Khoi was welcomed by the commune's Covid-19 Prevention Steering Committee to quarantine at the centralized quarantine area in Huoi Cang 1 village, Bac Ly commune./.
