Young man from Kon Tum went to Nghe An to buy 2kg of crystal meth

At around 4:45 p.m. on February 13, a working group of Quy Chau District Police was on duty on National Highway 48 through Ta Soi village, Chau Hanh commune when they received a report that a subject was driving a motorbike from Que Phong district towards Vinh city carrying a large amount of drugs.
About 15 minutes later, the police discovered a young man riding a motorbike with license plate 37F1-092.72 appearing as reported, and signaled him to stop for an administrative check.
Seeing the police, the young man ran away but was knocked down by the police. Checking his backpack, the police discovered two large packages that the subject confessed were methamphetamine. The subject and the evidence were taken to the Quy Chau District Police headquarters.
Here, the People's Procuracy of Quy Chau district coordinated with the Quy Chau district police to open the seal of the evidence to determine the weight and take samples for examination. The amount of crystal meth that the subject was carrying weighed 2kg.
The young man said his name was Le Huu Ha (born in 1988, hometown An Khe district, Gia Lai province, currently residing in Quang Trung ward, Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province).
A few days ago, Ha took a bus from Yen Ly intersection (Dien Chau district) to Que Phong district, then went to Ky Son district to buy 2 kg of crystal meth from a man she did not know. Ha bought the drugs to bring to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption.
