Improve the quality and efficiency of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Provincial People's Council, provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission disseminate and implement Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU, dated November 19, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on "Strengthening the Party's leadership to improve the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, 2021-2025 period and the following years".

Accordingly, the Resolution sets out a number of basic targets: every year, 100% of Party committees at the same level work and issue documents guiding the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; 100% of authorities at all levels have regulations on coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the same level; organize evaluation of implementation results; organize at least 2 monitoring contents, 2 social criticism contents; by 2025, the rate of union members of the Farmers' Association will reach 86%, the Veterans' Association will reach 98%, the Women's Union will reach 75%, the Labor Federation will reach 95%, the Youth Union will reach 72.5%; basically complete digital transformation,...

The Resolution sets out 6 groups of tasks and solutions, including: Raising awareness of the political and social system about the position, role, functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; innovating the leadership methods of Party committees towards the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; directing authorities at all levels in developing and organizing the implementation of regulations on coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; innovating the organization and content, methods, improving the quality and efficiency of operations, focusing on the grassroots and residential areas; Strengthening coordination to carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, difficult tasks and weak links; building a contingent of cadres, mechanisms and policies for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to perform their functions and tasks, meeting the requirements in the new situation.

The conference also spent time to disseminate and implement Project No. 07-DA/TU dated November 24, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on "Innovation, improving the effectiveness of contact, dialogue and handling and resolving conclusions of leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels after contact and dialogue with people in the province, period 2021-2025".

The project sets out targets such as: every year, 100% of leaders of provincial, district and grassroots Party committees and authorities organize regular meetings and dialogues with the people; 100% of localities and units with outstanding and urgent issues promptly organize direct meetings and dialogues with the people on a thematic basis; based on the situation, at least one meeting and dialogue on a thematic basis is organized each year, and ad hoc dialogues are organized when necessary; 100% of opinions and recommendations of the people at meetings and dialogues are included in the conclusions of the heads of Party committees and authorities for direction and handling, and submitted to competent authorities...

At the conference, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Veterans' Association, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Provincial Youth Union respectively deployed specific plans of their organizations and units on the implementation of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU, dated November 19, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, agreeing to closely coordinate to perform well the tasks, complete the goals and targets set in the spirit of the Resolution.

Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Ngoc Kim Nam emphasized that Resolution 04 and Project 07 are two important contents to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 19th Provincial Party Congress on mass mobilization work. He requested that immediately after the conference, it is necessary to organize serious, timely and quality study and dissemination of the entire content of the resolutions and projects to cadres, party members, union members, association members and the masses in an appropriate form, bringing about the highest efficiency. The dissemination content needs to focus on the urgency of issuing resolutions, projects, goals, targets, tasks and solutions stated in the resolutions and projects, emphasizing the contents that are suitable to the practical conditions of the locality and unit, further promoting the positivity and dynamism of the mass media in propagating and mobilizing the implementation of resolutions and projects, etc.

The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also requested localities and units to ensure the progress of implementing resolutions and projects according to the plan issued by the Provincial Party Committee, based on the content, proposing specific, scientific, highly feasible implementation programs, specific roadmaps for each year and the whole period... Along with that, in the implementation process, it is necessary to regularly pay attention, guide, urge, inspect, supervise the implementation, evaluate the results of implementing resolutions and projects annually, and summarize according to the roadmap, draw experiences, replicate advanced models, overcome shortcomings...
