Improve the quality of activities of the Propaganda sector in advising and implementing ideological work.

In the first 6 months of 2023, with the motto and slogan of action "Determination, courage, intelligence, solidarity, initiative, innovation, creativity", the Propaganda Department at all levels has been active, proactive, innovative, and creative in advising, organizing, and implementing 4 groups of key tasks and solutions of the industry and achieved important results.

The highlight is that it has focused on major, difficult, important issues with new issues and practical significance for provincial and municipal Party Committees, governing bodies and press and publishing agencies. From there, it has created a legal basis for the Party to implement uniformly and synchronously within the Party and the political system, such as advising the Secretariat to issue Regulations No. 99-QD/TW, 100-QD/TW, 101-QD/TW.

Propaganda Departments at all levels regularly innovate the organization of research, study, and dissemination of resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations of the Party, meeting the requirements of speed, synchronization, and depth to all levels, sectors, and localities; creating unity in perception and action from the Central to the local level. Typically, successfully organizing the Conference to disseminate and implement regulations: 85-QD/TW, 99-QD/TW, 100-QD/TW, 101-QD/TW of the Secretariat of the 13th Party Central Committee in the Northern and Southern regions in Thanh Hoa and Binh Duong.

At the same time, successfully organizing large and important conferences and seminars, demonstrating the persuasiveness and effectiveness of the Propaganda sector, was highly appreciated by cadres, party members and public opinion. The sector also promptly directed to grasp public opinion, actively fought against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; compiled documents to provide information and orient propaganda and foreign information on sensitive, complicated and emerging issues, ensuring to maintain the ideological and informational fronts.

The entire industry has advised on the implementation of a deep and wide political and ideological campaign among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life on the content of the work "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, creating unity in awareness, will and action throughout the entire political system and society on the role and importance of the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Strengthening the work of protecting the ideological foundation; innovating and improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and education on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, contributing significantly to enhancing the political capacity, maintaining the stance and principles of cadres and party members, and being steadfast in the face of new difficulties and challenges. The Central Propaganda Department is also actively developing regulations on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period and is actively implementing the National Scientific Conference "Theoretical and practical issues in Party building work on politics, ideology and ethics in the new period".

The entire industry has also proactively and actively fought against and refuted false and distorted arguments of hostile and reactionary forces; actively participated in preventing and combating ideological, moral, and lifestyle degradation, corruption, negativity, "self-evolution" and "self-transformation".

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and results that the Propaganda sector has achieved in the past time. He emphasized a number of key tasks of the Propaganda sector in the last 6 months of 2023, including: Continuing to effectively implement, ensuring quality and progress of projects, preliminary and final summaries submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat, advising the Party Committee to lead and direct the continued innovation, improving the effectiveness of research, study, dissemination, dissemination and implementation of resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations of the Party during the 13th National Congress; the 13th Central Executive Committee's mid-term conference.

At the same time, focus on advising the Party Committee to strengthen leadership and direction of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics, focusing on implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle" in conjunction with Resolution No. 04/NQ/TW dated October 30, 2016, the 4th Conference of the 12th Central Executive Committee on strengthening Party building and rectification.

Continue to implement Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Central Executive Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle officials who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution", "self-transformation" and regulations on setting an example for Party members and officials, especially leaders.

Strengthen the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fight against wrong and hostile viewpoints; synchronously and effectively deploy propaganda, press, publishing, culture, arts, public opinion, and foreign information work; continue to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of advisory work in the field of science and education; summarize 40 years of advisory work of the Propaganda sector to contribute to the development of the 14th National Party Congress Documents; continue to advise Party committees to lead, direct, and effectively implement Decision No. 238-QD/TW dated September 30, 2020 of the Central Party Secretariat on "Regulations on coordination between Propaganda Departments at all levels and state agencies at the same level in law enforcement, implementing socio-economic development plans, and resolving outstanding issues of public concern".
