Improve the effectiveness of citizen reception work
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the request of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the regular citizen reception session in June 2018 held on the morning of June 15.
At the citizen reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized that citizen reception is one of the important tasks of authorities at all levels, which must be carried out seriously, on time, and in accordance with regulations, in order to properly resolve arising problems right at the grassroots level, avoiding the situation of petitions and complaints going beyond the level.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the district and commune authorities in the province pay special attention to this work and regularly receive citizens. With the responsibility of the government towards voters, the regular schedule of receiving citizens will create a basis for synthesizing opinions to be presented to the upcoming 6th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII.

It is expected that on June 15, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, the Provincial People's Reception Committee will receive 27 citizens coming to complain, reflect and make recommendations. Some reflections such as citizen Ngo Tri Lam (Hamlet 7, Nghi Cong Nam Commune, Nghi Loc District) reflecting on the issue of public ethics of some cadres and civil servants of Nghi Cong Nam Commune and Nghi Loc District.
Citizen Nguyen Xuan Kim (Block 4, Dien Chau town, Dien Chau district) petitioned the competent authority to issue land use right certificates to households living on both sides of National Highway 1A, the section passing Thuc Pham bridge.

Citizen Nguyen Phung Hai (Hamlet 10, Xuan Tuong Commune, Thanh Chuong District) complained that the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong District did not reclaim or compensate for garden land to clear the traffic safety corridor and rice fields to build roads, affecting his family's rights.

After listening to citizens' presentations of the incident and receiving opinions from the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee and relevant departments and branches, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong directly responded and concluded on how to resolve each specific case, and at the same time requested relevant agencies to promptly handle the cases according to their authority or advise and propose the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve them in accordance with the provisions of law.
