Black sticky rice - super food for cancer prevention
According to the analysis results of a research team from Louisiana State University (USA), black antioxidants in purple rice help protect blood vessels and prevent DNA damage - a factor that leads to cancer.
Purple sticky rice has the scientific name Philydrum lanuginosum Banks, also known as charcoal sticky rice (in our country, there are 2 types of charcoal sticky rice: light charcoal (dark red) when cooked with alcohol will turn red and black charcoal (black purple) when cooked with alcohol will turn dark purple) or also known as black rice.
